Chromotherapy
Here’s the story I have to tell you, and it’s about me, so I was able to conduct an important experiment without fear!
In 2019, I was suffering from floaters, those annoying filaments you see in front of your eyes when you look at a light surface. While driving in the fog, I got very scared; I could no longer focus on the road. I perceived this situation as highly debilitating and decided to give it a try, to trust myself, my knowledge, my sensitivity, and my ability to stop and ask for help without feeling the need to do everything on my own! I decided to try my own methods to resolve a significant issue if successful.
Chromotherapy purifies organs and thoughts
We know that, according to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), the eyes are related to the liver. Therefore, if we have liver issues, our eyes can also be affected. Moreover, the liver is the reflex point for negative emotions like anger and bitterness, but also for positive emotions such as planning, the desire to create something new, and the urge to expand (just like children do when they leave school euphoric!).
During the spring of 2020, I decided to cleanse my organs and clear my thoughts. I started with a targeted approach for the intestines, which are responsible for eliminating waste and producing serotonin, the neurotransmitter of good mood. Afterwards, I focused on the liver.
I carefully chose foods based on taste and season: spring, belonging to the wood element, best supports the liver with its fruits. For example, artichokes, agretti, arugula, chicory, and asparagus are vegetables with strong flavors, sometimes slightly bitter. At the same time, I started wearing a green crystal (I prefer not to specify the type of crystal because it is very personal; not all stones are suitable for everyone, and the risk of someone experimenting on their own is too high) as a ring along the liver meridian, specifically on the right ring finger. In this way, I worked internally through diet and externally through the knowledge of the meridian system.
The Color of Trees as Chromotherapy
After 21 days (during which I had learned to respect the cycles of nature), the trees had also begun to offer a rich, intense green through their young leaves. I spent half an hour each day gazing at the green of the new foliage while simultaneously clearing my mind to release the lingering anger within me. As I inhaled, I focused on the projects I wanted to accomplish with joy and gratitude, and as I exhaled, I imagined the anger as black smoke. With my eyes closed, I sought out that black smoke and expelled it while gazing at the green of the trees.
I concentrated on the green, looking for the chlorophyll in the leaves and trying to feel its flow.
How the color of the trees solved my problem
After three months, the terrible black threads were no longer present in my left eye. The right eye took a few more months to clear up… But the day I was finally able to open my eyes and see a clear and sharp view of the white wall was wonderful!
This is how I work with color…
Each organ has its own reflective colors, which can be found in foods, crystals, and new thoughts associated with it, helping to restore it to a state of renewed well-being!
Whatever your discomfort may be, if it consistently arises in certain situations and you think it was caused by an emotionally stressful experience (remember, even fear is an emotion!), feel free to contact me. The plan we develop together will focus on addressing the imbalance. It may take some time, but the results will be truly lasting!
